League of
Basketball

From a round robin league in 2022 to the year-long Grind circuit — the story of LOB.

The Beginning

The League of Basketball was founded in 2022 in Karachi as a competitive basketball league for the hoopers, by the hoopers. From day one, the goal was simple - create a serious, structured competition for players who wanted more than casual pickup games.

Eight seasons later, LOB has grown into the premier basketball circuit in the country, producing elite teams, fierce rivalries, and a community built around the game.

The Grind Circuit

Starting in 2026, LOB introduces The Grind — a year-long competitive circuit that replaces the seasonal format. Instead of isolated seasons, every game across the year feeds into a single live standings table.

The top 6 teams at any point in time compete in the Champions Series. Everyone else is in the Challengers Series. Rankings shift after every game — no team is safe, and no team is out of contention.

Your standing is determined by the Adjusted Strength Score — a points system that rewards winning against strong opponents in high-stakes games, while softening the blow of losses to keep every team competitive.
